The customer service representative for Bodylastics was very helpful in answering my questions regarding which set of equipment was best for my needs. The shipment arrived within a few days of my ordering. I am more than pleased with the quality of the products! And the online videos are helpful in showing different exercises. All in all, I am very pleased with the service and equipment provided by Bodylastics.

Fantastic!

I've had some inexpensive bands that worked to a point, but even with the alleged 150lbs on, rowing movements were not difficult. I'm 60 and that amount should not be so easy! With the bodylastic bands I'm doing the same exercise with, according to the bands, 79lbs! Having the 404 pound set I'll never run out of resistance and with 6 handles it greatly speeds up my workouts. The resistance they provide is excellent and not as hard on aging joints. I shoot Olympic Recurve Archery and they're fantastic for simulating the draw resistance using a heavier weight than my bow which in turn makes the actual shooting easier. Easier is steadier and steadier means increased scores. I couldn't be happier with the product!

Good and practical exercise set

I bought bodylastics Warrior Edition 14 pieces several months ago. It is comfortable to work with and the mesh provides additional convenience while going to exercise. The materials are sturdy. 4 stars instead of 5 is because this type of bands stops stretching at "earlier" point than regular (loop) bands (without handles). However, with one black and two green bands I load myself sufficiently already before that point. I recommend this set for use outdoors - kind of a gym in your hands

Review of the 6 Band Pro Series Set (Warrior Colors)

Sean K. October 2021

Very Sturdy

The bands, handles, and velcro straps are all very sturdy, like you would find at a commercial gym. The labeling on the cords, as to their strength, is clear as well. One last thing - I contacted customer service with a few questions. The response was fast and with complete answers.

Excellent!

For the price, quality, and user friendly company. It's well worth it. Saved my life, because I couldn't afford a pull up bar, or fit one in the apartment, or use a door bar because of how weak the door frames are with their fake wood. So this was the perfect option. Without spending a crap load of money on free weights, or endangering my life in a public gym due to the pandemic, I literally have a gym in my back pack, sweet!

Review of the 5 Band Pro Series Set (Legacy Colors)

Brandon B. September 2021

Game changer

It is already hard to make your self do the exercises. Having to stop to readjust a standard anchor just gives you more room for excuses. The ultra door anchor makes it easy to just flow through your work outs.

I haven't been going to the gym for a while because of the increase in the variant. I do have some dumbbells and an old barbell but there were some things at the gym on some of the machines that I just couldn't duplicate. Your system has allowed me to continue my program. At first I wasn't sure it was really working but afterwards I knew I was getting a good workout. Good system.

Review of the 6 Band Pro Series Set (Legacy Colors)

Richard September 2021

Fantastic!

I’m not the type to write reviews, I don’t have the best written skills, but I’ll do my best to tell everyone about my personal growth using this product. I’m trying to cover a lot of ground in this very short explanation so forgive me if it jumps a little. Here goes: I’ll admit I had done some research, I was actually looking at a different system when I found these bands. I’ll also admit I had to learn how to use them correctly for myself to reach their maximum potential. One thing that I know from personal experience is, these bands are amazing. In four weeks I lost 18 lbs and started seeing serious definition and not once did I notice I got weak which made this an integral part of my fat loss program. I never worked out for more than 30-45 mins a day. I kept my edit clean, and I made sure to walk every day. I discovered that it is true resistance bands have to be used differently than free weights but the results on strength and aesthetic goals are the same when used properly for an individual. I have put at least 200lbs of resistance into some of my workouts and I have pushed myself daily now for 8 weeks. The results are in, this is an amazing set of equipment. I even put the bands in the bag and into my suitcase and they traveled well. This company is one of the best customer service companies you will find on the market also. If there is a problem bodylastics will treat you the way they you want to be treated. That says a lot these days. As of today I’m 180ish lbs and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. 9 weeks ago I was 213lbs and miserable. If you are looking for options, you really shouldn’t look any further. I’ve used several gimmicks to achieve my goals in the past and failed. Some of them worked O.K. But nothing not even free weights worked this well for me. Each new trial and each new gimmick discouraged me and in the end failed. This time I took a chance and bought this set completely hopeful but very skeptical and after I learned how to use the equipment I succeeded. I’ve thoroughly tested how tough they are. They held up through all the punishment I gave them and my body. In fact I mounted the ultra anchor in the studs of my wall with 2x4s and the fear was never the bands snapping but rather I was going to pull my wall down. That is how tough and strong the system is. My wall stayed up and the bands never snapped once. What I’m writing here doesn’t even do them justice. I honestly recommend you get them, try them out, and learn how your body can transform in as little as 4-8 weeks like I did. I’m literally a new man. If you think you can’t build strength on these, think again. It’s safer on your joints and it’s got better resistance control than anything I’ve ever used including free weights. Gym rats like I used to be before letting myself go for many years were biased in the belief free weights was the only way to reach strength goals. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ve had zero injuries, I’ve pushed my muscles harder each day to failure and if it was too easy I’d do another set. The result was a “pump” like I’ve never achieved before, and serious muscle and strength growth. TLDR: if you are looking for something that is life changing, a great product, and actually works as exercise gear; you should just stop and try bodylastics. I promise they will not disappoint. Bodylastic system gives you the most durable bang for your buck and is unmatched in craftsmanship. If you buy any other product like it you are wasting money. I hope this review helps people understand the potential hidden in this product. I’ve never been more pleased with buying a product and I’ve never been more excited to workout and get results. I made the bands work for me personally and I know anyone can do it.

Pretty ok.

It's a good and versatile collection of tensions. They seem solid and I appreciate the sense of security in knowing that they are designed not to snap like cheaper versions. The rings and handles add more weight than I anticipated, so I find that I often prefer using the leg loops. The rings on the handles can end up in uncomfortable positions for some exercises, but I think that would be the case with any systems that use handles. The multiple options provided with handles, door stop, etc. is valuable.

I had been waiting for most of the pandemic to get replacement bands for my 142' set. Early in the pandemic, I thought I was ordering them from Amazon but it turned out to be cheaply made Chinese bands with totally false weight listings for each band. A 30' band which at most was 10'. Finally, I was able to order an entirely new 142' authentic set direct from bodylasticand I am so gloriously happy. Don't order anything that proports to be bodylastic from Amazon. They lie and they are not bodylastic. Accept only the real deal by ordering direct from Bodylastic. Weights are accurate. The bands are extremely well made and durable. (My old ones lasted at least 5 years.) I am one happy customer!!

Outstanding quality. I have a few miscellaneous resistance bands picked up over the years. Bodylastics is in another league. Just excellent. I've been mostly using dumbbells for last six for years. In a Web search for lat workouts discovered Blake's excellent videos. He's sold me on Bodylatics bands. The lats are finally getting a good workout. Thanks, Blake and Bodylastics. When my gym closed in March 2022, I didn't know what to do. But after watching your videos on the use of bands I decided to order a set. Unfortunately, your products were out of stock and I purchased another brand. I realized that these were not as good as yours and recently ordered a set of bodylastics. These bands are exceptional. It's hard to believe how superior they are. I am a 68 year old exercise nut and I will not be returning to the gym. I feel I can get a superior workout with your bands and do not have to put up with the loud music and equipment hogs of today's gyms. If you ever need an old spokesperson for your products just let me know.

Distribution of weight sizes of bands allows for good mixing and matching for a beginner. Bands are a little slick even with gloves which use due to a latex allergy. Is there a way to decrease this with something other than dry chalk powder? Otherwise, just what I was looking for to use during sheltering in place workouts. Non snap cord insert is a lifesaver.

There is a night and day difference between the bodylastics bands and other brands. These feel very secure and safe when I use them. My other brand set always make me worry whether the band is going to separate from the handle or snap at me. The snaplinks are very easy to use and the ability to stack bands is great. The weight labels are wonderful; my other brand I had to remember which color was best. The instruction manual is very detailed and I like the chart showing all the weight combination options. I do wish the chart was available in a larger format but I scanned it and printed it larger. Would have also preferred a poster with the exercises instead of a booklet. But those last two are extremely minor. I purchased these because of the reviews and reputation for quality in the bands and so far I am very pleased with that.

Appears to be high quality and includes good instructions and the web-page has a plethora of good tips and instructions. As I don't have a suitable door, I wish I could have had the option to substitute the large anchor in lieu of the door anchor. (I already installed the included small anchor mid-height onto the chassis of my elliptical walker.) I am Evangelical About These Things

I honestly can't shut up about these bands and the people in my life can attest to that. Having had cheap bands in the past that offered next to no resistance, I can tell you these are the real deal. The weight ratings on them feel true to their free-weight equivalent as well. Being someone who needs to spend months at a time living in a hotel for work, these are indispensable. Just think about it, over 200lbs of resistance in a bag that weighs in at about 5lbs. Its super handy having the extra set of handles and straps as well. I've learned that attaching one of the extra ankle straps to the anchor allows you to clip the carabiner right on for unilateral moves where you don't want the band doubled up. Get this kit and I promise you, as long as you put it to use, you will never regret the purchase.

Nah.

Let me say this. The tubes are well constructed and the clips are great but the tubes suffer from the lack of versatility compared to Loop style bands. They fall way short BUT I will say this as well,..for the beginner or for someone starting out, Bodylastics tubes are by far the best bar none. If you are at a point where you are very serious about working out with bands, you really need to step up to looped bands. I made a huge leap when I made the switch and you will too.

Lightning fast chipping/Heavy duty

My order got delivered the next day. Aside from some apparent wear or maybe production defects on some items in the set (Still waiting for Bodylastics to respond to my email), I find the products superior compared to the other resistance bands that I have previously owned. The 30 lb. band is so thick and ultra resistant that I think it doesn't fit in my current training. Should have no worries now about bands snapping and potentially getting hit and injured. I have high hopes it would last me a long time.

Used Bodylastics bands a little over 10 years ago when I saw an ad by TO. Loved them. Gave them to my son almost 2 years ago and he's still using them. Wanted a new set and I got the 404 lb set for Christmas and immediately started the 30 day Biceps Challenge. Also ordered the Ultra Anchor Door Attachment which has been great, and arrived sooner than expected. As expected, great quality and I personally would not use any other band system as Bodylastics products have been outstanding for over a decade.

Laurence D. December 2020

The best I have found!

I bought a set from another outfit. I was disappointed with how flimsy they were. The resistance bands seemed weak and fragile. I could barely fit my hand into the handles, and the straps chafed the sides of my hand. The door anchor was a joke.and there is no way I would have used there Anywhere anchor. I remembered seeing Bodylastics several years ago and seemed to recall they were more rugged. I ordered the 142 lb set and I have not regretted it! The bands are thick and the cord center provides a lot of security. The resistance seems to be more even and the weight appear to accurate. The handles, ankle straps and anchors are obviously of serious construction. Compared to Bodylastics, the cheap set of bands I bought elsewhere are toys...cheap DANGEROUS toys!

I received my Bodylastics order in a short time and exactly what I ordered. Your product is superior to the cheap bands that are sold on Amazon. I specifically searched for made in USA and the high quality is obvious. I feel safe using the Bodylastic bands knowing there is an internal safety cord in the unlikely event of breakage. I am 74 years old and COVID has prevented me from going to a fitness center, so I am glad that I tried resistance bands for keeping fit. I am finding that the bands are somewhat more forgiving than free weights and machines so they are perfect for seniors. I can still get a decent workout without going to a traditional gym.

First of all, this is my second set of Bodylastics bands and accessories purchased with the intention of equipping a vacation home so that I don't have to carry a full set with me from place to place even though I have done so for a few years now. The bands, in combination with comfortable handles and anchoring straps make these the most comfortable, versatile and SAFE bands on the market in my opinion and trust me, I have tried others. I was pleased that my choice had not been sold out but I can see why they might be. Great equipment and long lasting (just don't expose them to the sun for long periods).

Received timely and in good condition

Really like the quality of the product. I did a lot of research before purchasing and many reviews of other systems reported that the bands snapped and caused personal injury. Your system while being a bit more costly seems to be of much better quality and safer to use. Working with bands is a lot tougher than I thought it would be. I may never go back to the gym.

Highly recommended! As advertised, the system is easy to used and has fit my needs very well as I work to rehab from a shoulder injury. There could be a little more padding/design change around the handles (the large O-ring connecter can push up against your wrists) but not enough of an issue to dock any stars for this great system.

I really like this set, it meets the high expectations I had based on other reviews. The handles and anchors have a solid feel and the band construction is confidence inspiring. I am able to do many movements that I would have used the cables and gym machines for when working out in a Gym environment. I enjoy using my dumbells too but if I had bought these bands first I probably would have been reluctant to spend the money on the dumbells as I can do full workouts with only the bands. I have encouraged friends to buy these and may consider gifting sets as well.

The bands stretch properly and are sturdy giving you good resistance for the full range of motion. The weight/pounds seem accurate as well. I’ve only used them for two weeks but if they last as long as my first set, I can expect years of use. Good product, I would recommend them. The only negative is that my older bodylastics bands have larger carabiners on them so they are slightly longer, this makes stacking the old and new bands slightly off. Other than that everything is top notch.
